Alyna walked noiselessly down the passage. Last time she had been there, she had wanted to kill the person she was now hoping to bump into. Though she had a dagger hidden in each boot, she didn't plan on using them. Erik's half-face mask was in her pants pocket and her hair was pulled loosely into a pony tail.

Behind Alyna there was the soft clicking of heals, but no one could be seen, just heard. Then a voice echoed throughout the passage. "What do you want?" the voice said ominously and unrecognizable.

"That depends who you are," Alyna said. Her voice echoed down the hall. She turned around slowly enough not to alarm whoever was following her.

"Who I am doesn't matter," came a whisper that seemed to come from right behind Alyna, but no one was there again. "State your purpose!" came the now booming voice, a trickle of water began to flow down the passage.

"I'm returning something," Alyna answered with no emotion in her voice. She recognized the tone of the other's. "I didn't know there were two ghosts haunting the opera house. Who killed you, Rose?"

((I thought I said her voice was unrecognizable...hm, oh well))
"You did," Roslin answered in a whisper and pushed the notch up one more. She was above Alyna in a hidden shaft. She stood by a small machine that controlled a rope that was attached to a wall that blocked the water of the underground river from flowing through the tunnel. More water seaped into the passage, but not too much.

((*whistles innocently*)) "I'll have to give myself a pat on the back when I get back to my room." She glanced down at her wet feet. "I didn't come here to talk to you. Stop playing games."

"Then leave," Roslin replied, notching it up a bit more so the water reached just below Alyna's ankles. "You're lucky you didn't get kicked out of the opera house all together."

Alyna stopped herself from saying any of the dozen retorts in her mind. She held her hands halfway up in the air. "Look, I'm unarmed. I don't plan on killing anybody. I just want to meet with your brother."

The water stopped. "Put your hands behind your back. I'll tie them and then maybe he'll talk with you," Roslin said, she would wait for Alyna to put her hands back before she moved closer.

Alyna obliged. "I suppose you already have a rope with you. But perhaps your trademark is drowning. Do you mind closing the pipe, or whatever it is, sending water in here?"

"Open your eyes, Alyna. The water has been blocked off," Rose said in annoyance as she pulled out a rope and tied Alyna's wrists tightly together. Then, with Alyna still facing away from her she did as Erik commanded - She began to pat Alyna's sleeved arms and legs, looking for any weapons.

"Ugh," Alyna muttered as Rose touched a spot she had bruised at Chase's party. "Are you so superstituous that you think I'll draw a weapon telepathically?"

"No, don't be a fool," Roslin said as she located the dagger and removed it. "But since you have a weapon on you, we might as well not take any chance." She put the dagger inside her cloak. She then blindfolded Alyna, took the girl's arm and began to walk, then she turned sharply to the side and through a door.

While purposely kicking the water to get Rose's feet wet, Alyna marked in her mind the steps they took at each turn. Blindfolded, handcuffed, weaponless, and being taken down to someone who told Rose he would "take care of her," she began to wonder if this was the right way to go about this.
