Élodie thought it would be easier ((as it often is in real life)) to split up the dancers and the leads, since the dancer's costumes have to be more closely tailored, and therefore, more work. She lay the sketchesout upon the table once more, and looked at her list of performers who still needed to come: *Lead Male - The Angel (Gareth) - Yves D'Aubigne Minor Male - The Demon (Percival) - Philippe Chauvet *Lead Soprano - The Maiden (Alavda) - Kristine D'Anton Minor Soprano - The Fire Spirit (Voletta) - Solange Fournier She had some special modifications in mind, in fact, it was a corset she had made for a woman who was with child that had inspired one of them. Élodie may not have known much about dancers' dresses, but singers, she knew, worked from the muscles of their stomach. Voletta's corset, therefore, had to be made with a new, black, stretchy material ((It's a corset with stretch to it, if you didn't get that. Elastic has been patented for several decades, but is only now in 1867 being widely used.)) Élodie hoped that it wouldn't be to difficult to find. She had heard, as well, that lead performers were more difficult to work with; supposedly there was a very unpleasant, demanding woman that didn't recieve a part, so that would be a small comfort, she hoped.

"Ah, hello, hello. How are you? I am here for my fitting. My name is Yves D'Aubigne. I hear that you have costume designed and now you need my measurements." Yves strood into the room.

Élodie smiled up at the tall, blonde man. He was rather good looking, and he probably knew it as well. That didn't stop her from greeting him cheerfully, though, and directing him over to the little platform for measurements.
"Hello, hello!" Élodie replied, readying her tape measure, quill, ink, and paper. "Just over here, yes, please. "
"You're playing the... the Angel, correct?" She checked the sheet, talking politely but rather fast. "Yes, that must be you. Well, we're putting you in a rather medieval outfit, really - boots, pants, tunic, and a lovely cloak to wear. I hope it works for you."

Solange knocked on the door, before realising that the costumer had Yves in with her.
"I'm sorry," she said apologetically, "Would you like me to come back later?"

Glancing at the door quickly, Élodie smiled, writing down what looked like a scribble on the bottom of the sheet.
"No, you can wait for just one moment, we're almost through here."
She had already measured neck, head, shoulder width, arm length, torso, and waist, and was now gathering her skirts about her to measure the lower half of the body.
"If you'll just move your shirt aside, there - " Élodie measured from the waist to the ankle, and then wrote down that measurement. "And what shoe size do you wear, Monsieur?"

Solange nodded and stepped outside the room, waiting for Yves to finish.

Élodie smiled, writing that down as well. "Merci. "
She gestured at the costume sketches once more. "Oh, and do you have any questions about your costume, Monsieur?"

Kristine knocked softly on the open door frame before poking her blonde head in. "Is this a bad time?" she asked, "I'm sorry if I interupted anything....". she glanced over at the young man standing next to Madam Chartier, Kristine couldn't remember seeing him around the opera. she mearly shrugged it off, assuming he was a new member. ((ha, sorry, just felt like sticking that in there, it would be a little stalker esque if she knew hm....w/o ever being introduced ))

(( )) Kristine smiled and gave a small curtsey "Kristine D'Anton" she said, "singer as well! we don't have many men around the Opera, it's nice to see a new face. Am I right in assuming you're in the upcomming production?" she asked, noticng Madam Chertier standing behind him-with what looked like a mans costume draped over her arm.

"Oh, yes. I'm playing the angel, Gareth. What is your part?" Yves asked with a smile.

Kristine couldn't help but laugh, "You're Gareth?" she asked, "small, world, I was lucky enough to land the role of Alavda, the Maiden. You'll have to excuse me for not knowing the entire cast yet, I've been out of town, and only received my score a few days ago." she smiled, "I'm looking forward to working with you!"
