Rose stood on the roof, the only place where Erik never seemed to be. She looked out at the city, the noted for Alyna was safely wedge between her back and the back of the dress. She rested against the big horse statue, trying to let her thoughts clear. Trying to understand...everything.
((Solange, I thought maybe one of your charries would be nice to RP with since...we haven't RPed together too much))

((Good idea))
Armand walked up the stairs, wanting to find somewhere to be alone and get his thoughts together. He missed Rome, France was so different, even if it was his homeland.
At the top of the stairs, he realised he wasn't alone, however. A girl, the pretty one from rehearsal with the red hair was standing there, her face showing confusion.
"I'm sorry to disturb you, Mademoiselle," Armand said. "It seems we had the same idea."

"Far from it, I'm sure Monsuer," Roslin replied, and though it didn't make sense to Armand, she didn't think there was any way his reason to be alone was the same as hers. She turned to look at him for a moment just to see who he was, then turned back to her gazing.

"Well, we did both want to be alone for some reason," Armand reasoned. He moved over to look in the same direction as her. The city was beautiful, it had been a long time since he had seen Paris.
"I haven't introduced myself, I apologise, Mademoiselle," he said, almost embarrassed. "Armand Courtois, I've just moved back to France from Italy."

"I'm Roslin Byron," Rose replied. "I'm a...chorus girl. Nothing too important." the less noticed she was, perhaps the better.

"Every Prima Donna was a chorus girl once," Armand countered. "I was in the chorus at the Rue Peletier before I moved to Rome. So I'm sure you could be a great Prima Donna one day."

"Let's hope not. With all the things they have to do because of m...the phantom," Rose said, not diverting her gaze.

"What does the Phantom have to do with this?" Armand asked. "He's all I've heard about since I arrived. Besides," he said teasingly, "This Opera House is too young to have a ghost."
((Construction on the Opera Populaire finished in 1875, which means that we're RPing while it's still being built as this game is set in 1867. LOL!))

((Really? Hm...In my research I never found anything about it, not the real Opera Populaire [which I think there is one], but the one in the book/movie))
"Well, he has a big say. Whatever he says goes, it doesn't matter how young the opera house is,"[/]b Rose replied.
((I think I remember how I figured the date. I figured that Madame Giry had been there when she was like 16 so anytime after that would be okay.))

((Yeah, I mean the real Opera Populaire. ALW got it wrong. That's why I prefer Leroux)) "I won't argue with you then," Armand replied, smiling. "There was a ghost at La Scala," he remembered. "But Italy is full of ghosts."

"So I've heard...from time to time," Roslin said with a smile.

Armand laughed. "This ghost was almost more of a poltergeist than a real ghost," he said. "Things would go missing, rehearsals would be disrupted. It even managed to send a chorus girl home in tears when it decided to start picking on her."

"Yeah, he...doesn't think straight all the time," Rose added.

"Does the ghost here do those type of things too?" Armand asked incredulously.

"Yeah, sometimes. He mainly just writes the music and...be's a tryant to make sure everything goes perfectly," Roslin replied honestly.
