Dear Journal,
It seems after being here six years I'm no closer to making friends than when I came. There seems to be enough people here that I could be friends with, but I can't seem to stop insulting them long enough to be friends. Oh how I wish I had a friend to talk to! I wish I could tell someone abuot David! Oh David, how I miss you!

It's me again,
I ran into La Carlotta today...what a pleasant woman! NOT! I was grateful to be out of her precense...
I did run across the ballerina girl again today, she was in my passage of all places! What was she doing down there? When I came from the passageway I found a sketchbook on the roof tiles, and it was amazing! I don't know if it's hers or not, but it was beautiful! I wanted to return it to her, but she disapeared so fast I wasn't able to get it to her in time, and that'w hen I ran into Carlotta...
I'm so lonely at the Opera Populaire...I don't know how to make friends. Maybe I should just swallow my personality and be nice...but I don't know how to be nice when I hurt so much for David.
Ah well...life goes on eh?

Me again...
I went to the cemetary today. It was quiet and peaceful. It's been so long since I was there, I forgot how much I like it. I was able to unload everything...he always listens. I'm performing with the orchestra tonight. While I was practicing the other day a girl by the name of Rose stopped in and we chatted for a while. I sure hope we can be friends. She seemed nice enough.
Oh well, performace is starting in an hour, I've got to go.

It's me again. I've returned from my journey. I travelled to see my family and was surprised to see what was left of my little hometown. It was devestating. I'll write more about that later, but for now, it's off to bed I'm so tired!
