Jeanne groaned as she rolled over on her side. She hand feebly reached out to grab her handkerchief. A load sneeze rattled her bones and soon she began to cough. The flu was never fun to have and Jeanne burried her puffy eyes in her pillow.
Soon, she began to shiver as she tried to break through her fever. In her dellusion, Jeanne thought she heard someone else in the room, but she was too weak to pull the covers from off her head.

Alyna knocked on the door quietly, but when there was no answer, she called, "Jeanne, it's Alyna. The cook sent me to bring you some soup..." She opened the door enough to be able to see into the room. "I'm coming in now," she warned, did so, and closed the door behind her.

Jeanne groaned, batted the covers away, and attempted a smile.
"Thank you," Jeanne whispered hoarsly. She sat up slightly and made some room on the foot of the bed if Alyna wanted to sit down.

"My pleasure," Alyna replied modestly, depositing herself onto the bed. She handed the bowl to Jeanne. "I know what it's like to have the flu with no soup," she joked.

"It's terrible," replied Jeanne. As quickly as possible, Jeanne ate her soup. After she was done she felt much better, though her nose felt runny and her throat slightly sore.

"Do you know how you caught it?" Alyna asked as she took the bowl back and put it on the table next to her.

Juliette knocked softly on the door to Jeanne's room before slipping inside. "I hope I'm not disturbing you" she said, her voice just above a whisper, "I heard you had taken ill and wanted to come say hi, how are you doing?"

Alyna slid over on the bed to make room for Juliette, and waited for Jeanne to answer.

Jeanne couhed before she answered. "Thank you Juliette for coming. I was walking around the streets of Paris and I think when I went into a shop, the person gave it to me. He was coughing ans sneezing. Terrible sight. Last time I go out without a veil." Jeanne attempted a feeble laugh as her head sunk deeper into her pillow.
