"Attention!" Madame Giry shouted as she silenced the crowd of singers, dancers, actors and others. "I have our next opera, Les Sables De Royaume de Cléopâtre. I also have a list..." she pulled out a leather envelope and then a peice of parchment. "The leads will be: Kristine D'Anton, Yves D'Aubigne and Daniella Bedeau. The minors will be: Zarek Anthony, Armand Courtois, Solange Fournier and Remy Richmond. Congradulations." She then went off quickly.

Yves stood to the side, nonchalantly. He looked around, trying to find Chante.
Jeanne had stopped her dancing to listen. When she heard the names, she quickly wento to congradulate them.

Carlotta, her nose still red from the night before, walked stormily up to Madame Giry. "If you think," she said in her heavy spanish accent, "that I will sing in an opera here again, you are mistaken! I am a Prima Donna, and I expect- no, demand- a lead role! I refuse to be in the audience again!"

Kristine stiffled a giggle at Carlotta's outburst, she was if anything, amusing at times.

Solange, who was standing next to Kristine was also trying not to laugh.
"Do you think she realises that we just don't need her?" she whispered to the other girl.

Armand smiled as the names were read out. He was excited to be in the next opera.

Yves saw Armand and walked up to him. "Hey man. Congrats!"

"Oh, I am," Armand replied. "I think the Rome Opera had a vendetta against it's performers, we practiced until all hours of the night. I'm still expecting Paris to be like that."
((He he, V for Vendetta... oh no, I'm obsessed!))

Roslin smiled. She though Erik had chosen wisely. Remy, as she had previously seen, was sometimes unnoticed by others, or over-looked for her weathly background. But Rose thought that she would indeed do fine. She also suspected why Alyna hadn't been chosen for a lead role again. "Congradulations," she said to...(just any one who was standing nearby and got a part, tehe)

(((V . . . for Vendetta, I think I am obsessed.)))
"Well, I guess we are much lazier, but I see the ballerinas work until their feet bleed," replie Yves.

Alyna congratulated the few leads nearby her. She avoided Madame Giry, partly because Carlotta was by her, and partly because she didn't want to know what her new role, no doubt decided by the O.G., would be.

Zarek stood in shock, how in the world did he get a part? he wasn't an actor or singer, he was an artist...just an artist! did someone know something he didn't? ignoring any people who had come over to congratulate him. he slipped out of sight, a bewildered look on his face. _____________________________________________________
Daniella couldn't believe it! she had gotten a main part and not just any a lead! her cheeks blushed as a wide smile crossed her face. she graciously accepted all congratulations that came her way.

Seraphina stood near the stage opening, by the curtains. Head peeking out as Madame Giry announced the leads of the next opera, the young adult stuck her head back in, glancing to those congradulated by their peers. "Good choices," she murmured under her breath, hazel and blue eyes peering up as Carlotta did her usual outburst.
The artist could be only smile - Poor sap, she wasn't needed in the Opera House. She might as well be a servant. Shaking her head, a glance was cast at Madame Giry for a moment before looking to the group of the actors, actresses, singers, etc. She would most likely get to work on the new Opera's poster soon, but it would have to wait. She wanted to talk.
"Congratulations," Seraphina said, walking out from backstage and looking to those chosen for the lead roles.

It was no coincidence that at the same moment the parts were announced Thérèse was sweeping backstage. She had a weakness for the sort of suspenseful moments even though they didn't pertain to her. She smiled slightly when she heard Remy's name called. That was good, at least she'd feel appreciated in some way.
She hung back from the congratulating crowds though, feeling it was not her place. Therefore she was more than a little surprised when a man who had been chosen for a part slipped away from the crowd. She'd have thought he'd be basking in the attention. "Are you alright, Monsieur?" She asked Zarek, glancing back at the happy crowd.
