Jeanne was walking backstage and saw Zarek the painter and Therese. "Congradulations. I didn't know you could sing too," Jeanne said, smiling.

((lol that's okay i thought it was a little wierd...but, i think i can have fun with this...develop Zarek's character abit more?))
Zarek, before able to come up with an answer to the girls, found his head spinning. Sing!? the only time I've ever sung is when i paint! "I um...." he blustered, "I didn't know either..." he found a barrel stage prop and collapsed onto it.

Roslin wasn't sure why he, a painter was chosen. She'd ask later. "Are you alright, Zarek?" She asked, standing beside him as the group of girls continued to congradulate him.

((diffy you're making it sound like he's being surrounded!lol))
Zarek's head raised to meet Rose's eyes, "yes, i suppose." after a moment he added, "does this mean i will have to do props and singing practice?!" the thought of both racked his brain, as he sunk deeper into the barrel.

"I'm sure Madame Giry won't put such a burden on you," Roslin laughed as the girls began to scatter. "It seems your fan club will keep you busy too," she joked.

"That does seem a bit odd," Thérèse remarked, careful to stay within her boundaries. "The fact you haven't sung before and you got the part. Not that there is a problem if you can in fact sing it. You've just fulfilled the dream of every minor chorus girl- and you're not even one of those. In the chorus, or a girl." She smirked slightly. "Still, there's more fame in being a performer than working backstage. There's someone looking out for you after all."

Jeanne felt like Zarek was getting a lot of attention and didn't want to be considered as one of the girls giving it, so she walked away and went to congradulate Yves.

It was a mix of relief and fear at was Ms. Roslin said. Relief that he wouldn't have to do double duty, and fear that she used the word "fan" club. In an instant his body relaxed only to tense up again and he gave Rose a look that said "Please tell me you're joking!" His uneasiness settled some at Thérèse words they seemed to give him a bit of comfort as he took them into consideration. "Yes, thank you." He said to her. He probably wouldn't have even noticed Jeanne absence if he hadn't have already noticed her, an eye watched her walk away.
((i know that last sentence doesn't really make sense...but if you read it real slow...Jeanne should know what i mean..(she flurted with him before so he had already "noticed" her.)))

"Don't worry, I'm sure it'll..." Roslin turned her head suddenly, as if she heard something. "...I should be going." She gave him a weak smile and then began to walk away.

Seraphina nodded to Zarek and backed away, suddenly remembering his comment about the props. Torso turning back around, her hazel and topaz gaze looked to the distressed man. "I can help with the props," She suggested, shrugging. "I usually do the banners, but if you want, I can help with the props." It was a favor, indeed, and a large one on the young adult's behalf.
But, poor Zarek needed some help with everything. It was the least she could do.
|Wow, that was suckish. *headesk*|

((lol is shuckish even a word?))
with everyone seeming to leave, Zarek was able to see the young girl offering her assistance. "Yes, well thank you." Zarek smiled, "I might just take you up on that." As he finished his sentence he stood having to practically wrench himself out of the barrel.

Daniella swept through the curtains and found herself face to face with the small remains of a group. In her gleeful entrance she didn't realize she might have been interrupting as she saw Zarek and took his arm. "Congratulations Monsieur!" She blurted out, "Shall we go celebrate?" With a blushed response from Zarek she drug him off as he turned his head quickly and said to the leftovers of the crowd, "bye."

Jolie stumbled onto the stage, late to whatever announcement had been made. She had a feeling it was about the next opera, seeing as it appeared to be a congratulatory congregation of unfamiliar faces in front of her. It was amazing how secluded she was from the other at the opera house without even really trying. She was just naturally a very quiet person and didn't make friends easily. She scanned the room for someone she recognized. Her eyes landed on Thérèse Dupassé.
"What's going on?" she whispered, scurrying over to Thérèse and trying her best to stay out of the others' ways.

"Parts announcements for the next opera. I didn't hear your name, so in the chorus it is," Thérèse answered bluntly. "That said, there were some odd choices this time around. Him-" she pointed at Zarek "-for example. I didn't know he sings. Neither, it seems, did he."

Jolie shrugged. "I guess chorus is better then nothing." she said, thne processed what Thérèse's second statement had been. "Wait, they casted someone who isn't a signer? That is quite odd." Jolie said in agreement. "I suppose that they didn't have any other males to sing the part...?" she guessed. Whatever the reason, it certainly was quite odd.
