Mostly just other things they've been in that you might have heard of. Gerard Butler (Phantom) was in Reign of Fire, a movie about dragons populating the world and causing humans to hide underground. He was also in Tomb Raider 2, Dracula 2000, Dear Frankie, Attila, Persuasion, and the Jury. Emmy Rossum (Christine) was in The Day After Tomorrow, a science fiction movie about global warming causing a second ice age. She aslo guest starred on the TV show Law and Order. Miranda Richardson (Madame Giry) was the voice of Mrs. Tweedie in Chicken Run. Though I can't find proof, I believe she also played the evil aunt in The Mists of Avalon, and (the live-people one) Alice in Wonderland as the Queen of Hearts. She is Rita Skeeter in the recent movie Harry Potter (4), Queen Elizabeth I in Blackadder, and the Norweigen Queen in The Prince and Me. Minnie Driver (La Carlotta) guest starred in Will and Grace. She also plays Mandy in Ella Enchanted, and a character in A Circle of Friends. She was also in Good Will Hunting. Simon Callow (One of the Opera Populaire's new manager, Firmin(?)) was in Four Weddings and a Funeral, and TB2 with Gerry. If you have anything to add about any of the actors, just post it and I'll add it.

Miranda Richardson . . . I think she did too.
Emmy Rossum was in a disney movie about ice skating, not the Ice Princess though.
Minnie Driver was in so many movies, but one that comes to mind is A Circle of Friends. Takes place in Ireland.

You've got a mom with good taste, Solange. Gerard Butler was in TR2 with the actor who plays Firmin, not Andre. The actor's name is Ciaran Hinds, and he was also in a rather great production of one of my favorite books, Jane Austen's Persuasion.

Ooh, I saw Persuasion, and almost all of the Pride and Prejudice productions, but not all. And Mansfield Park, and both Emmas, including reading Pride and Prejudice and Emma. I would recommend Pride and Prejudice, it is better, but my Grandfather always saif Mansfield Park is the best, and I have to read it. I'm not showing off, I just get excited about Jane Austen and books.

I haven't been able to get into Mansfield Park or Emma. I'll start reading them and then I'll just want to put them back down, or go back to P&P (another favorite) and Persuasion. But after a while, the plucky, intelligent female heroine just gets on my nerves, I guess.
