Lynette made her way back from the front of the operahouse still shaking her head as to where the little blonde ballerina had disapeared to. She decided she'd hang onto the sketchpad, for what purpose, she didn't know. She went to her dormitory and put the sketchpad on her bed and pulled out her violin. She'd replaced the broken strings from her encounter with the ballerina earlier in the week, and was now looking for a place to play.
She crept from her room, looking both ways in the empty deserted hallway and made her way down to an empty ballet practice room and shut the door softly behind her. She put her bow to the strings and started playing a haunting sad melody that filled the room around her and she disapeared in her music.

Roslin happened to pass by the room which echoed with the sound of the beautiful, but sorrowful, violin be played. She peered into see Lynette, but not wanting to disturb here, began to walk past.

Lynette looked up from playing her music and saw the woman peeking her head inside. She seemed frightened but wanting to linger. Lynette smiled kindly.
"Did you need to use this room? I'm not a ballerina, but it sounds better in here than in my dorm room." Lynette said extending her hand towards the girl in the doorway.

"Oh no, Mademoiselle! I was just going past. It sounded very lovely though," Rose complimented.

"Thank you..." Lynette murmured...she wanted to make a friend but didn't know what to say next. She settled on, "I've not seen you here before, but maybe that's because I don't every go out. What's your name?" Lynette asked, desperately trying to make a friend in this lonely place. She hoped she hadn't scared this girl off already...

"Oh, uh...Roslin Byron. Rose. You shouldn't know me really, I'm just a chorus girl to be honest," Rose replied as she leaned on the door post.

"Well I'm just a musician, I play the music you dance to." Lynette replied sitting back down and looking at Rose.
"How long have you lived at the opera house?" She asked

"A long time...and I don't dance," Rose replied, she smiled at the thought of someone thinking she could be a graceful ballerina. "I'm a Chorus Girl. I sing in the choir as back-up and such."

Lynette smiled, "Sorry I get the terms confused. I just play my violin and when I'm doing that the rest of the world just falls away..." she murmured.
"So where are you going, would you like some company?" Lynette asked

Well, to be perfectly honest, I'm not going anywhere really. I just finished with rehearsals, so...just going back to my dorm to rest," Roslin replied.

"Well, okay." Lynette said disapointed. She had wanted to make some friends and have company, but wasn't going to push.
"Thanks for stopping to talk to me anyway..." Lynette said sitting down in her chair and picking up her violin
