"I'm coming up," Alyna called to Daniella and appeared through the hole. She looked around. "Who would come here?" she asked when she saw the candles. After how long it had taken them to get there, it seemed silly for someone else to have gone so far in for solitude.

Daniella shrugged, "maybe theres an easier way in?" then after alittle pause she added a bit more to herself then anyone else, "It'd bee worth it though." the room glowed with warmth and light. almost in a mesmerizing way, it was hard not to look.

"Let's rest here for a while," suggested Alyna. "There's light here and we're not likely to come across any for a while." She noticed a door leading out of the room, went over to it, and tried to open it. It was locked, so Alyna unconciously pulled the key charm off of her necklace and put it in the lock. It clicked as it came undone and she returned the key to her chain. She sat down close to a candelabra and closed her eyes.

"yeah," Daniella said while trying to peer out one of the windows, she wasn't having much luck. "it must be pretty late by now." She then picked a spot acrossed the room from Alyna and sat down as well.

"When did you first find the passage?" Alyna tried to make conversation.

Daniella huffed and blushed alittle, "i was leaning up against the gargoyle at the top," she glance up trying to indicate the beginning of the passage way, "and well..i kind of fell through the gap and halfway down the stairs." in remembering the incident she added, "it hurt. Luckily i wasn't hurt bad enough to not be able to find my way out."

Alyna laughed, more of a polite laugh than an amused one, for Alyna rarely showed her feelings on the outside. "I assume Madame Giry didn't notice your injuries afterward?"

Daniella looked at her as if she was crazy, "Are you kidding me?!" she blurted out, "I got lectured for about an hour on how 'irresponsible' i had been in getting hurt." Daniella smiled, "i didn't tell her how it happened though...she would have had a cow!" after alittle pause she added, "she didn't let me dance for a week, although i didn't complain much at first...my foot did hurt."

Alyna nodded and sighed, becoming drowsy. "Maybe I should give it a try."

Daniella wasn't quite sure of what Alyna meant by this, but seeing that the girls eyes began to close she decided to let it be. She too felt sleepy and closed her eyes, soon finding comfort in her dreams. In a time that only seemed minutes she awoke to find the candles burnt out and the dimmest amount of light peering through the magnificent windows. she stood and walked over to one of the larger glass panels, once again trying to peek out.

Alyna yawned silently and stood up also, rubbing sleep dust out of her eyes. "It must have been a while," she observed. "It could even be morning. Is the sun out, Daniella?"

"I can't tell for certain, but i think so.." Daniella said as she glanced around to see Alyna stand. Her stomach grumbled a bit and she wondered where in the building they were, and if anyone had noticed them being gone. "well shall we go?" she asked looking at Alyna again.

"Yes, but be careful on your way down." Alyna climbed down the ladder through the trap door. "It's still dark down here, no matter what time of day it is," she called from below.

Daniella descended down the latter after Alyna, and started back from whence they came.
