"Have you seen him before this?" Alyna asked Jeanne, not in the least bit terrified. Only disappointed.

"Never. I thought he was a silly myth. I've probably heard him walking around, but I neverheard his voice before."

((By the way, they didn't see him. Erik was hiding in the shadows, out of sight.))

Solange rubbed Jeanne's shoulder, trying to comfort her. "I knew he was real, she said. "This place wouldn't run as smoothly as it does if he wasn't." Solange sighed. "He agrees with me about my lack of practice though."

Solange giggled. "I wish," she said. "I'm too shy to sing properly. But thank you."

deep down Daniella always knew he was there, just liked 'pushing her limits' so to speak. when the voice resounded she looked a bit startled, looking around in all directions, she did not get scared like Jeanne seemed to, nor mad and...insulted as Alyna. Just caught of guard. at Solage's comment she responded, "well, then i guess we'll just have to help you with that huh?"

"Thank you," she said to Daniella. "If I could sing properly, I'd be so happy."

"I wonder where he lives," murmured Alyna, and then walked away absentmindedly.

"Probably in the basements. Paris is famous for its sewers and catacombs." Jeanne looked around before she sat down. "I wouldn't venture too far now, he might still be lurking." She said the last bit more to herself.

"Yeah, that's where I think he'd be," Solange agreed with Jeanne. "It's the only place he could hide. And," she lowered her voice conspiratorally, "Perhaps there are secret passages throughout the Opera Populaire!"
Solange giggled suddenly. "Look at me, with my imagination running away again."

"There are," said Alyna. "This building's far too old not to have any, and I've seen entrances to a few."

Juliette stood by the open doorway, listening to the girls talk about the existance of OG. she smiled to herself, oh, she was framiliar with the "ghost". her grandfather had told her stories of the mysterious architecht who had aided him in the design of the Garnier. how he had never signed his work...as she tried to recall his tales, her weight shifted, causing the floorboard beneath her to squek slightly. She hoped the girls would not notice her, to think her to be spying on them.
