Madame Giry had asked Rose to help one of the male singers with their parts in the performance, though she wasn't told who. Madame Giry was apparently in a hurry. So Roslin simply took up her music and went to the practice room to wait.

Armand walked into the room, calmy and stoically. He had a rehearsal that Madame Giry had arranged for him.
"Roslin!" he cried, surprised as he saw her in the room. "Uh, I mean, Mademoiselle Byron, I'm sorry to interupt, I think I've gone to the wrong room."
Armand turned to leave.

"No Armand!" Roslin called, she grabbed his arm to pull him back in. "I'm going to be accompany you for this practice. The pianist could make it today. I think he is rehearsing with Zarek," she explained. She was to meet with Erik in an hour and a half and she didn't want to waste any time.

"Oh," Armand replied, stuttering slightly. "Right. Do you have the music from what was being rehearsed? I don't have a piano copy."

"Yes, I do. I think we're set. Which song do you want to start with?" Roslin asked, she sounded confident and calm.

Armand smirked. "One of the ones in the second half," he replied cheekily. He looked at his sheet music again. "My copy doesn't have the names of the songs on it," he informed Rose seriously.

Roslin looked through her music and picked a song that was between Mark Antony and Cleopatra, quite close to the end of the opera. "I hope this one is okay," she said, showing him the music. "Look good?"

Armand nodded. "Perfect."
Opening his music to the page, he did a few warm up exercises before they began.

Then, Rose started to play. Since 'Mark Antony' sang first, she waited for him to come in. She would later join as Cleopatra.

Armand sang, wincing as he hit a few wrong notes. It was the first time he had sung the piece of music, a few mistakes were expected. Just as long as they were no longer there on opening night, everything would be fine.

It came to Cleopatra's small ending solo for the song, but Rose cut short before then. "Do you want me to play your part so you can get it better?" she said quickly, flipping back to the first page.

"Please," Armand replied, mentally resinging his part. "I'm going to need lots of practice," he laughed.

Roslin restarting, doing the same routine several times: melody notes and then accompaniment. After a little bit Armand had it pretty good, for the first practice.

"Thanks Mlle. Byron," Armand said, back to being formal. "It was nice of you to accompany me."

Roslin took that has his being done and put her papers in a neat pile and sat then on the piano as she closed the key-cover. "I guess I didn't have much of a choice. When you get asked to do something here, it's more or less really a demand," Roslin replied, she smiled a little bit and stood.
