((can the Pianist be rp-ed by anyone?))
Zarek had met early that morning in one of the practice rooms, he had asked Madame Giry to help set up a large amount of time to practice, as he sat a the piano bench waiting, a middle aged woman entered. Zarek had only seen her once or twice, when all of the rooms where full or for special practice she had invaded his space backstage to help one of the singers rehearse. She was skinny, giving her the appearance of a rail, wearing oval glasses she had the look of an owl. she sat down next to him and looked straight at the music that laid in front of her. "Shall we begin then? I see no sense in waisting time." She frowned, "And I am only assuming that you will need.." she squinted her beetle eyes, "Extra help." Zarek 's face turned hot as he quickly stood, "Yes, right." he responded as if being snapped out of a dream. "The scales then," she announced, "Those are the ones that test your range." Now she was starting to sound as if she were talking to a small child, "Begin." As Zarek sang, he met almost all of the notes she played seamlessly, the pianist found less and less to say.

Yves walked in and saw that the room was already being used. "Oh! Je suis tres desole," he replied. "I was just meating with Jeanne, but I see the room is being used."

The slight diversion made Zarek pause, as the pianists fingers hit the keys rather hardly and she snapped her head around and glared at Yves. "DO you mind?!" she spat. Zarek smiled uncomfortably and replied, "I haven't seen Jeanne, sorry."

"Oh, I meant I was meeting her here. Am I am interrupting anything?" Yves looked nervous.
"Yves! I'm sorry I'm late!" Jeanne said, prnacing into the room. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Zarek and blushed. "Oh, I am sorry." She turned to Yves. "I think Chante was looking for you? You too should really go out!"

Jeanne's sudden appearance caught Zarek alittle off guard, and her 'go out' comment about too men didn't help any. In the back of his head he was wondering what Yves and Jeanne were meeting for. The impatient pianist butted in, "Yes you were interupting.." but, before she could finish her sentence Zarek pipped in. "No it's fine Yves," with a grand bow he greeted Jeanne, "Good morning Miss." As he raised his head he looked to the girl to see if she was returning his gaze and smiled.

Jeanne smiled at Zarek. "I was just getting a few singing lessons from Yves, he is really a lovely singer." Jeanne stopped. "Oh, I'm Jeanne by the way, I think we've met once before?"
"I think I am going to find Chante, if you mind?" Yves looked slightly nervous.

Zarek nodded to Yves as a far well, not noticing the mans worried expression, " I know," he responded to Jeanne, "We've met once or twice, but seen each other often." The corner of his mouth went in to a grin. "or atleast i have." The pianist rolled her eyes, "Do you mind? I'm sitting right here." She looked very uncomfortable.

Jeanne blushed. "Then you have seen how poortly I dance. I have seen you often too," Jeanne said with a small smile. Jeanne looked at the pianist. "I am sorry," she replied. (((evil pianist! )))

((lol thanks! but, isn't she fun?!))
"If you would call a swan ungraceful, then yes i have seen you dance." Zarek new he was laying it on thick but, he couldn't help it she had been in his sights for the past month or two...yet his ways were not boorish or daring, but quite the opposite. It was only in his nature to be kind and charming. A trait that had yet proven to work. He glanced at the Pianist, who had taken Jeanne's 'sorry' as an insult, or so it would seem by the look on her face. She huffed at his words and under her breath was heard mockingly said "a swan." Zarek ignored her.
((Zarek isn't a girly man or anything...hes just...mild? have you ever seen Kate and Leopold?(Meg Ryan & Hugh Grant?) That's him. I think i should put this in my character discription...))

(((I love her!)))
Jeanne blushed. "I would not say a swan . . . " she trailed off. "But merci." She looked down at her feet for a brief moment but then looked up. "The sets, ever since you came here, are gorgeous. Are you going to be painting the ones for this opera?"

((hehe I know!))
"Well, thank you," he smiled, "I'm afraid I will not have as much time for them. Miss...Trotter i think was her name," he paused, "generously offered to help me out." At another roll of the eyes from the pianist Zarek added, "I'm almost wishing i could."

Jeanne laughed. "It is a shame then. Your sets are so real that when I'm dancing on the stage, it transports me to the world it's set in." Jeanne realized tht sounded a bit corny and blushed.

"Oh Please!" Came the retort of the pianist. Zarek clenched his jaw slightly, her voice was really starting to get on his nerves, how someone could be so rude so much at one time...He turned his attention to her. "I'm sorry Madame, you can leave if you wish." That was good nice and polite, Zarek found it hard to imagine a nasty comment to that...he was wrong. "Are you kidding me?! Giry, booked me solid with you, besides, I'm having way to much fun here! Gotta stick around to see how you two's kids turn out! I'm sure they will be as dull witted as you, and as deathly looking as her." She then looked really rather pleased with herself for that snappy comment, which seemed to have left Zarek speechless. All he could muster was a blank stare in her direction.
((do you still love her? lol I'm good i'm really good! hehe))

Jeanne's smile dropped. "Deathly looking?" she whispered. A small tear rolled down her pale cheek. She looked from the pianist to Zarek and then down at her feet. "I think I need to be the Corpse Bride somewhere else," she said, turning to leave. (((wow, actually I do. )))

Zarek looked from the piano to the back of Jeanne's head then back again, "Jeanne, wait." he jogged over to her, the Pianist called after him, "Madame Giry won't like this!" but, her drones were quickly shut out by the closing door. "She didn't mean it, well maybe she did, but you are by no means deathly looking.." His sentence trailed off at a lost for words. "She's jealous, that's all it is! I.." He stuttered. "I'm sorry. Are you okay?" he bent over alittle to look into her eyes, having now stopped her, he had his hands on both of her shoulders.
