Friday, Today nothing intirely speical happened, besides the usual ofcourse. I did some reading on the roof, though I'm not finding the book entirely interesting, until practicing started. At the pactice, things were normal, though no music yet, just exercises yet. After that I took a small break to straighten my bed space as requested by Madame Giry. Finally, near the end of the day, I played some songs and sang some on the old piano in the back of the opera house. One song I found quite hard and intriging, with many strange notes, though I worked it out, finally.

Monday Nothing but nothing lately, and practicing. Everything has been quite dull and dreary, (I do need to work on my spelling, but nevermind that). I've practice some more on the piano and singing, I'm not sure I should be worried about the musician aspect, perhaps more on the sing? Ah, who cares? I can do with my time what I like. Anyways, I see everything other girl who wants to get the main saprono part in the upcoming Opera has been practicing their lungs out I hear, trying to impress the Phantom and Madame Giry to edge their way into the main part. [Atleast that is what I have heard]. That girl Charlotte, she is quite a bit younger than me I would think and a ballerina, seems to be trying to believe that the Phantom doesn't exist! But they say that he has been haunting her, perhaps she is scared.

Monday, A full week has passed and several...unconventinal things, in my opinion, have happened. For one, I actually...meet the Phantom everyone is always mumbling about. I don't know why or how or what I was doing, but he just showed up and handed me this envelope. It makes me nervous. Also, Kristine D'Anton has gotten the lead role in the upcoming production! I'm am etremely glad for her, I think she will do a wonderful job. La Carlotta was chosen for the minor lead, and even though she is snotty, the role she will be playing will fit her personallity to perfection, I belive. Charlotte Wilkins was also chosen to be a lead ballerina along with Meg Giry. The Phantom is sure taking a leap with these first time stars, but they are excellent choices in my opinion. Solange Fournier seemed extremely upset at the pervious mentioned, I don't know why. I heard later that she practiced her lungs out singing afterwards. I can only wondering if she is mad at the Phantom and was trying to impress him or something of the like. But I think from meeting him, that wouldn't be the kind of girl he would be looking for. Kristine, though she did practice alone sometimes, never tried to impress anybody, but just do her best. Perhaps I think to much on these matters.

Sunday, The Opera will start tonight. I'm not at all nerous, what is there to be nervous about anyways? I will be in a mix of other girls, the focus will not at all be on me. I think that it'll go well. Kristine will do just fine I think, and ofcourse La Carlotta will too (though I prefer to think not). But this Phillippe fellow, not too sure. No one has heard him sing so it is quite curious. Other matters. Well, last night I awoke to find Daniella looking at some mysterious letters. She said that she didn't know who they were from, but I had a feeling she thought they were from the Phantom. I'm not so sure. It doesn't seem his style. I'm not sure.

Monday, I feel like dying and killing and hiding and tons of negitive emotions all at once. The horrible truth that Erik, the Opera Ghost, is my brother is just too much. And now he's using me as his little pawn to get things done. I don't like it. I wouldn't doubt it if he was watching me right now...and taking notes! He is cruel, though he has his reason, in different ways. I want to think his intentions are best, but how can I when he takes things, precious things, frmo people just to make his opera a bit better? Well, the Masquerade was fun, luckily I didn't know all of this then and was able to have a bit of fun, though it was mostly all just creepy. The lead roles in our next gloomy, grave and very tough opera have been filled by Kristine, Yves, Solange and Philippe. The ballerinas are Meg and Alyna. I'm quite glad now, knowing what I do, that I wasn't chosen.

Tuesday, Besides the fact that I am Erik (The Opera Ghost)'s sister - which I am completely over now - Much has happened, including the torment of one girl, Alyna. I told her my own secret, but I do wish I hadn't now, I'm not so sure I can trust her, you see. I dare not tell Erik, he'd murder the girl surely, with all the trouble she has been. I also met a rather nice young man named Armand, he is new at the Opera Populaire. Though ofcourse after the ice was broken between us, Erik had to tell him to back off. He is too over-protective sometimes, can't leave well enough alone. And so I got mad at the poor man and my brother and stormed off in a fuss to write all my thoughts - weather joyful or painful - in this journal.
