I guess it is a good thing to keep track of the goings on here at the Opera Populaire. I have made a few friends, was late to practice. I met a singer named Solange. She seemed very nice, but I didn't talk long. One of the dancers hurt her ankle and I went to help her. She said her name was Daniella. I was also late for practice! Luckily Madame Giry wasn't there. Apparently I missed a show! Some man got in trouble for disturbing practice? I don't know.Everything here seems so different. I guess it's because I am new. The odd thing is, when I was in an empty room practicing, a girl came and interupted me and my English accent came through! I don't know why, but she reminded me of home. Of my parents.I better get some rest, I will need to practice a lot tomorrow. My knee hasn't bothered me for quite a while which is always a good sign. Though, it does feel uncomfortable every so often.Good night!

Sacre Bleu! I just heard about the rumors of the Opera Ghost! I can't help but laugh a little bit. A ghost? Yes, apparently there have been sightings and notes, AND deaths, but maybe it is a phsycho serial killer? Like that thought makes me feel better. Well, I'll see for myself if the Opera Ghost exsists, but I better be careful of what I say, or I might get in trouble!

Today was a slightly odd day. I nearly fell while practicing in a spare room. The routines are quite difficult. Whoever came up with them should be severely punished. I told Daniella the truth about my past and that I was born in England and in return she explained why she wore a silver locket around her neck. I hope her wish comes true and her father finds her. If not, she's always got a replacement family here. The atmosphere is wonderful. Just enough joking yet seriousness in the air to make dancing very enjoyable. I hope that I stay here forever! Well, not forever. I don't want to be the next Opera Ghost haunting young girls who just want to make a living.

It has been such a long time since I have updated this dusty thing. I have always been bad with keeping journals. The opera came and went, and so did the masquerade. That was fun. I wore the most beautiful dress I have ever owned. I danced with Phillippe, though he claimed he had two left feet!
Then I had the oddest conversation with Alyna after the ball. We talked about our futures, then when Chante arrived, with a handsome man on her arm, we started talking about the Phantom! Alyna was worried about the Phantom being angry with her. I hope she is alright.
I better get some sleep now, I am getting tired, all this practicing, must keep my limbs in shape!

I know it has been awhile, but I have been busy. There have been operas, and lots of dancing. I met Zarek, the Greek painter in one of the practice rooms and, well let's just say I had a pleasant surprise.
My friend, Yves has been the lead in the opera's, twice! I am really tired from dancing. Good night!
