Rose was up on the rooftop reading a novel she had borrowed from an artist. She sat at the foot of one of the flying horse statues, intent in her book. She looked up as the excitment of the first few pages dulled and saw a busy street below, fumes rising from a distant factory and the cold apartments of the city.

meg walked out singing quitely to herself. She loved it upon the rooftop, when she was younger she used to come up here and think. Thinking of her father, and why he was decesed. Meg suddenly stopped in her tracks. Realising Rose was here she stopped singing and walked to sit next to her and asked. "good book?"

"Oh!" Rose said slightly startled. "I'm not quite sure yet. I've only just begun it today. Has rehearsals started yet?"

"Yes, except for that factory smoke. Almost ruins the view," Rose replied honestly. She wasn't shy, but just didn't know what to say. Soon clamoring was heard in the Opera House: practice had begun. "Thank you, but I must be getting to practice." she said and was gone.
