((yes tis right )) Meg felt that charlotte danced well and despite a quick moment of her forgetting her steps. Meg could almost tell what she was thinking by way she looked dissapointed when she stumbled, but she had amazing skill and populaire would turn her into a graceful, beautiful dancer.

Philippe grimaced. He hadn't meant to put the girl off.
Sitting on the side of the stage, he watched the ballet dancers. They were so graceful and so beautiful, and they seemed to be so in tune with the music.

"You," Madame Giry said coming over to Philippe. "Can't you see my ballerinas are trying to practice?" she asked sternly. "I suggest that you go watch something else for now. You'll be able to see ballerinas dance at the opera."

Charlotte felt a bit bad for the man. After all, it was just practice...but she supposed he was distracting her, and she shut out all other thoughts until she could feel the music ringing thorugh herself. She got chills just imagining what it would be like with an orchestra.
She pushed this nerve-wracking thorugh from her head and checked over at Meg again to make sure she was doing the right thing. She corrected herself on a step that she had been consistently missing, and then her mind was finally, blissfuly empty.

"I was just watching," Philippe said, rolling his eyes. "But I suppose I should probably practice too."
Philippe stood up and walked out through the back stage door.

"Thank you, sir," Madame Giry said as he left. "Very good girls, but you need to practice a bit more to get those steps completely memorized. And don't forget to do you stretches before practicing. I need to go check up on costumes, but keep practicing and I will return shortly."

Daniella sat in the front row of the theater just behind the conductors box massaging her feet.

Charlotte swallowed, chest moving up and down madly.
"I...think I'll just...go get a drink," She gasped, and then pushed htorugh the curtains and went backstage, seeking water.

Charlotte returned, much refreshed, but her cheeks were burning hotly from her encounter with Phillipe backstage. She was so stupid sometimes!
She shook her head and rejoined Meg.
"Okay, let's go through these again," she sighed, getting into starting position.

Jeanne quickly ran up to her spot, her face flush from running and blushing. She was late again and she hoped she wouldn't be yelled at. "Pardon, je suis désolée." Jeanne set into position and smiled shyly. (the french: excuse me, I am sorry. )

Charlotte looked over and saw Jeanne. She smiled reassuringly at her.
"Good thing Madame Giry isn't here," She cautioned her softly. "She'd have a fit." She smiled again and then motioned for Jeanne to get into the starting position.

Jeanne's smile widened as she realized how lucky she was. She nodded and began to dance with the others.

Jealously Daniella watched from the audience, she found it very hard not to compare herself to the others.

Jeanne was good. she had grace and if she learned as quickly as charlotte, the ballet would be sorted in a few months.
