Alyna already had. She peered around, and assumed that the room was some strange cellar. "Is there a way out of here?" she asked, though the answer was obvious.

Daniella grinned "other than the way in? yes." Daniella then blew out the candle and set it at the base of the stairs. a dim light from the entrance above glowed just enough to see. "i had to search alittle but, i eventually found it." Daniella then pulled back a tapestry that was hanging on the wall to the left, and gestured for Alyna to step through first.

((Not that we got it, but what about permission from Erik?)) Alyna hadn't seen the tapestry earlier, but she showed no surprise when the passageway was revealed. She stepped past Daniella into the tunnel, looked back to make sure that Daniella was coming, and continued forward.

((true! what if erik invited us? yes that's it he sent us a note! i found it on my bed this morrining!lol))
Daniella was folllowing close behind Alyna, this passage sloped slightly downwards and as it did, it got colder...to the point where Daniella's nose went numb from frost. soon after the reached a fork in the hall, one leading to the left, the other to the right.

Lynette was in the dark passageway off the right fork at the bottom of the stairs. She'd discovered this place two years ago and had come here to sit and think ever since. She considered this "her space" and was very glad that no one was able to penetrate her inner sanctum. She leaned her head against the cold cement wall with the moss growing on it and closed her eyes, wraping her arms around her chest. It was good to have time to think.
Just then she heard whispered voices just beyond the stairway. Her stomach clenched up...who was coming to invade her private space now?

Alyna ripped an unimportant part off of her recently clean pants and tied it around her neck like a scarf. She turned towards Daniella looking for an answer to which way each fork lead, but as she dis something caught her eye on the right... a silhouette, though Alyna was almost sure it wasn't the Phantom's. She motioned for Daniella to follow, and keeping her left hand tight on her dagger ((yes, she's a lefty)), she turned to the right and towards whoever was sitting there.

Lynette sighed with relief when the voices stopped, they must have gone down the other passageway. Girls from upstairs out exploring again...trying to find the infernal "Opera Ghost". She shook her head...silly girls.
Just then the voices started again and a girl appeared holding a dagger high in her left hand. Lynette smiled at the girl.
"I'm not dangerous, I think you can put that thing away now..."

((where did the dagger come from?! where you planing on stabbing a mouse? *is so confused*))
Daniella still stayed behind Alyna, partly now from fear of the weapon she held in her hand. there had never been anyone down in these passages before; as they rounded the corner and saw the woman sitting there her stomach dropped a few levels. Not again. she thought to herself. earlier that week the two of them had, had a rather unpleasant run in.
"what are you doing here?" she asked.

"I could ask you the same question!" Lynette barked as she stood and dusted herself off. She shivered slightly, not from the cold, but from the company.

((I saw, and I'll fix yours when I can! ))
Lynette ignored the young one and smiled at the girl with the black hair.
"I hope you don't have need to use that. I heard some shuffling down the hall." she said as she pointed deeper into the shadows of the hallway.
"It was probably just a mouse or something." She added as she brushed past the two girls and up the staircase.

((Heh, I didn't know that, Madame Giry. Lynette, I wasn't holding the dagger high in my left hand! It was still attached to my belt, my hand was just on it!)) Alyna watched the girl as she disappeared, too high up to see because of the low ceiling. She recalled the saying her ballet teacher had always recited in her old opera house. "There is a time to speak," it went, "and a time to listen." This girl, who hadn't revealed her name, obviously never heard this. "Let's go right," Alyna said simply, and walked in said direction.

Daniella raised her eyebrows, "yeah," she breathed a sigh. and followed suit.
