The ballerinas retreated back stage as Phillippe came on. Alyna ran to the dressing rooms to prepare for the next scene that she was going to be in, which was when they prepare the bride's and bridesmaids' dresses. No-one had made any mistakes yet, which was good. She remembered, however, seeing the Phantom appear in one of the boxes as she left. Though she wasn't sure, Alyna was almost positive that he came to hear Kristine. She was the type of girl the Opera Ghost would have an interest in. Somewhere far inside herself, Alyna was jealous, but her better instinct told her that if she ever met the Phantom it wouldn't be through what she did on stage. The Phantom took no interest in ballerinas that had never sung before. -- Carlotta paid no attention to Kristine as she sang, often going out of sync when they were supposed to be singing the same words. Aside from that, she was doing fine. As the ballerinas danced off stage, one's slipper caught the bottom of Carlotta's dress, pulling her forcefully to the right. She righted herself just as Phillipe came on, and hoped the audience hadn't noticed. ((No, she didn't fall down, but there's a small rip in the bottom of her dress now...))

Lynette took notice of all the ruckus as the cast changed and the duet started. She smiled when Carlotta's dress got ripped. It served her right...She just smiled and continued playing and then gasped when the king came out. He had the most gorgeous tenor voice!

Jeanne blushed as she realized she had caught her foot on La Carlotta's dress. She looked over and saw no damage was done, but Jeanne was now suceptable to prima donna yelling.

La Carlotta, as rehearsed, ran to Phillippe and began to protest to him in a sing-song voice while Kristine did the same, but with different words. -- Alyna, ready early, stood poised off to the side, unviewable by the audience. She noticed a rip in Carlotta's dress, but the dress was so puffy it was obvious that Carlotta couldn't see it.

Roslin was now off the stage. She had no need to change. She would be wearing the same outfit in the finally. She watched from the sides.
-------
Madame Giry felt the performance was going well and went to make sure the girls were behaving in the changing rooms.

Kristine had almost compleatly lost herself in the role. As she turned towards the audience, her eyes taking in the full house, she thought she saw a slight disturbance in box 5, but thought nothing of it. As the trio ended Kristine's character huffed offstage. Once in the safety of the wings, Kristine collected herself before hurrying off to prepare for her next entrance.

Carlotta, also exiting the stage, went to her dressing room and called for her maid to help her change into the next outfit. As she stood up from her chair to reach for her shoes, she tripped and hit her head on the mannequin with one of her dresses on it. Slowly, she stood up to find that her nose was bleeding and painfully throbbing. She tried to call for her maid again, but instead fell back into her chair and started to cry from the pain. She decided to get up and go get help by herself, yet she sat there until her head fell back in unconciousness.

The dressing rooms where full of giggling girls as they changed and redid there makeup. Daniella had just fitted her bodice on and was coming out from behind a curtain when she saw Kristen pass by the door, probably on her way to her dressing room. Daniella tried to catch her eye to tell her that she was fabulous, but didn't think she managed to do so. After she was finished, she made her way back to the stage, passing one of the prima dona dressing rooms, the door was open a crack, through the corner of her eye she noticed that it was La Carlotta's room and well, her reflection in the mirror didn't look too good. Daniella poked her head in.

((Daniella, you'll get no response from Carlotta, she's unconcious. You might as well go run and find Madame Giry or someone else now. )) Alyna had to move back to leave room for the other ballerinas that were ready, for she was in the back row again. She paid no attention to what was going on backstage, for her eyes were fixed on box five.

Lynette was completely unaware of anything out of the ordinary going on until she saw Alyna's eyes focus on box five. Lynette allowed her gaze to drift to the box in question, and squinted her eyes to see if she could pinpoint the shadow that was hiding there. She blinked and the shadow disapeared, so she turned her attention back to the performance and when her part would come up again...

((well Daniella doesn't know there's anything seriously wrong yet...*laughs at you* *laugh* j/k XD))
Daniella stepped around the chair the La Reine was singing in, she noticed that Carlotta wasn't sitting as much as she was slouching, La Carlotta never slouches.. Daniella ran back to the dressing room she had come from, found Madame Giry and told her of the mishap. (then hurriedly made her way backstage with the other dancers.)

Jeanne bumped into Daniella and nearly tripped.
"Sorry, I've been doing that a lot lately."

"Girls, hurry! The Ballerina Dance is coming shorting and you all must be ready!" Madame Giry shouted as she began to pull the dressed girls back to the stage (in the wings) so they were prepared. ------------------------------- Roslin sat on the side watching, when Kristine left, she gave her a friendly and encouraging smile. She was indeed doing well. ------------------------------- Erik smirk as La Carlotta fainted. He was now in one of his secret spying passages to make sure all was going well backstage during the intermission.

when the score called for just strings, Juliette stopped and streched her fingers out. She would have preferred to have been a violinist for the production, but the opera needed someone who could play the organ, which had happened to be her. as Juliette waited for the dance to end, she watched everyone in the pit--she saw several of the players glance up towards box five, including Lynette. Juliette smiled to herself in disbeliefe. She knew what had caught their attention. Her father had told her about the mysterious architecht that ahd helped build the opera. loosening up one last time, Juliette turned back to the score and waited for Phillipe's character to come back onstage.

When the musical number was done, and the strings were at a rest, Lynette let her gaze drift towards box five again. She was sure there was nothing to this nonsense about an "Opera Ghost" but who was in that box? For as long as she could remember, it had stayed empty and her curiosity was peaked.
Snapping back to attnetion, she followed the music again while Phillipe was on stage, and then relaxed when it was again required to play. She lost herself in the music, and tried to ignore everything else.
