((Sorry, couldn't post all day.)) Calotta woke up as the salt fell on her head. "No," she murmured and began to cry. "Not tonight. Take me to my room, let someone else sing." -- Alyna, recovering, began to dance along with Charlotte and Daniella. She hoped nothing serious had happened and that the audience wouldn't run out from fear.

Shocked at the words, Madame Giry quickly obeyed her request. She passed slowly into a dark corridor and then emerged a few seconds later, knowing who could and would fill Carlotta's role and carrying a rose with a black ribbon. She walked up to Rose and handed the rose to her. "His thanks for deliver the notes and remaining secret," she said as she hurried the chorus girl into Carlotta's things and pushing her onto the stage to fill the role. ((Rose isn't gonna be a normal star singer, just filling in this once so don't worry ))

Solange sighed as she watched the exchange with Madame Giry and Rose. With a glare, she stormed off around the back to help Carlotta to her room. It really wasn't fair, she was more than capable of singing Carlotta's role but she was once again being overlooked. She was starting to believe that someone hated her.

Rose saw Solange storm off. She (Rose) really did hate the Phantom choosing her. Would she loss friends, and those who could become friends, because of it? She walked onto the stage. Though she knew Carlotta's part, she couldn't help but wonder how well she wuld truly do. She began to sing into the duet with Kristine, though she was late because of the 'delay'.

Daniella seeing Rose come on stage sighed a bit of a relief and slightly shook her head. It was unlike Le Reine to miss her limelight, something must have scared her out of her wits!

Alyna blinked at the change in cast, but showed no outward response for fear of tripping. She wondered why Rose had been picked over any of the others, though she'd never heard Rose sing by herself before, so perhaps she was good. As she danced she noticed a black rose held in Rose's hand, and wondered why the Opera Ghost had done it. She didn't trust him at all, certainly after her run-in with him in the room leading to the old chapel. She continued to dance as the duet took place, her trained limbs moved gracefully through the dance. The only way one could tell that she understood what terrible things were going on around her was the look in her eyes.

Solange returned to the side of the stage after helping Carlotta, sitting unobtrusively in a corner while she watched the performance onstage.
The duet was going well onstage, it was extremely obvious that Kristine was the more proficient singer, though. How I would love a chance to sing a duet with her, Solange thought, sitting with her elbows on her knees.
((I was going to say 'She wanted to sing the flower duet with her' but then I remembered it was written in 1883!))

Though Erik noticed Kristine was better, that was why he choose he in the beginning, he thought that Rose's voice was very unique and lovely. But the reason he choose Rose was because she had kept secret and because, from what he had heard, she put more passion and personallity in her voice than some of the other girls. And she KNEW she wasn't the best, and didn't get huffy when she wasn't chosen for a lead role. He dropped into Box 5 from a passage that lead above it and sat down to watch.

((Solange-I LOVE the flower duet! one of my fave pieces-pity it wasn't written in this time period, I say we take some creative liberty;) ))
Kristine and Phillipe embraced as the duet ended before Kristine ran off stage for one last quick change before the Finale

Rose follow her after a few words on the stage. She went to Carlotta's room. The snooty singer wasn't there so she hurried on with the next, and last, outfit. She went back to the side of the stage, hopeing that the looks she was getting from other chorus girls and ballerinas weren't as prejudice as they appeared.

Jeanne saw Rose and gave her a thumbs up. "Good luck," she mouthed before she had to go on stage.

Kristine smiled supportivly at Rose as she waited in the wings. When she heard the musical cue begin, Kristine swept onstage, her think skirt rustling as she made her way to where Phillipe's character was going to meet her.

((Is the finale the wedding?)) Alyna stood offstage as the finale began, the ballerinas only coming on at the very end. She had dressed quickly and silently, unlike all of the other girls backstage. Her eyes went from Kristine to Phillipe to box five and back again, until her eyelids hurt from moving and she closed her eyes and leaned against the wall, hoping to rest until the queue ((someone correct my spelling if I'm wrong)) for the dance to begin.

((Wedding Finale sounds good to me!))
Roslin took her potition as the ballerina brides maids danced across the stage sprinking flower petals and doing graceful twirls.

Jeanne smiled as she flew across the floor, flower petals gracefully falling from her outstretched hands. Se looked out to the audience and could see the opera was a success.
